Description

"Melissa Palopoli" Archaeological Museum

Descending from Crucoli toward the hamlet of Torretta, one encounters Villa Ciuranà, an 18th-century palace that still retains its original structure. The name derives from girennah (frog). The building consists of three floors and a belvedere, and features frescoed ceilings. Long owned by the Palopoli family, it now houses the Archaeological Museum, where artifacts from the Palopoli collection are preserved—pieces of enchanting beauty that encompass the mysterious history of this land.
